Services · Swing weight

The traditional heft tune-up, done properly.

Some players prefer the classic D-scale feedback they grew up on. We balance every club in your set to a consistent swingweight point, to a tighter margin of error than the factory shipped with. The familiar feel, cleaner than before.

What it is

A static balance, done with care.

Swingweight is a static measurement: lay the club horizontally on a 14-inch fulcrum, read the D-point. It tells you how the club feels at rest. For a hundred years it’s been the only number club builders had – and many players prefer it to anything more modern.

When swing weight is the right tool

You came up on the D2/D3 feel and you don’t want it changed – you just want it consistent. Or you’ve added lead tape over the years and want the set re-balanced to a clean number. Or you’re re-shafting and want the new build matched to your gamer’s swingweight, not the factory’s.

How it compares to MOI matching

Swingweight balances mass; MOI matching balances effort. They’re two different solutions to the “every iron should feel the same” problem. Swing weight is faster, cheaper, and traditional. MOI matching is more precise across long-to-short iron transitions but takes longer.

How we do it

Measure. Tune. Verify.

01 · Measure

Every club, on the fulcrum.

We sweep the gamer set on a calibrated 14-inch scale. Every iron, wedge, hybrid, fairway, driver. The spread across the set tells us whether you’re looking at a 2-point variance (mild) or a 6-point variance (every club feels different).

02 · Tune

Adjust to the target.

Pick the target D-point – usually the one your favourite club is sitting at – then bring every other club to it. Lead tape under the grip cap or behind the head; tip weights for bigger swings. Each change re-measured.

03 · Verify

Hand-feel + final scale read.

Every club lands within ±1 D-point of the target on the scale. We let you swing each one before the tape is sealed. If anything still feels off, we keep going. The set leaves matched.
